The Alde Discrete Room Temperature Sensor & 2 m Cable (Part No. 3010-346) is a genuine Alde accessory that lets you place your heating system’s temperature sensor in a more representative location inside your caravan or motor home rather than relying on the sensor built into the control panel.
Often the built-in control panel sensor reads too high or too low due to nearby heat sources (e.g., cookers, sunlight), which can cause the heating system to overshoot or cycle incorrectly. By positioning this sensor nearer to the actual living area conditions, you get more accurate temperature feedback and better heating control.
🌡 Improved Temperature Accuracy – Helps your Alde heating system respond to the real room temperature, not just where the panel is mounted.
📏 2 m Cable Included – Gives flexibility on sensor placement for best temperature detection.
🔌 Plug-and-Play Installation – Designed to integrate directly with compatible Alde control panels.
👌 OEM Quality Part – Genuine Alde component built to match original specifications and reliability.

1 × Discrete room temperature sensor
1 × 2 m connection cable
(Fits directly into Alde control panels via the designated sensor port.)
Disconnect power from your boiler control panel before installation.
Plug the 2 m cable into the sensor port on your Alde control panel or PCB.
Position the sensor where it will best reflect actual living space temperature — ideally away from direct heat sources.
Secure the cable so it’s neatly routed and doesn’t interfere with other equipment.
When powered up, the Alde heater will use this sensor’s input to regulate heat more accurately, improving comfort and efficiency.
Caravan and motorhome owners using Alde hydronic heating systems
Anyone experiencing poor or inaccurate thermostat behaviour due to panel sensor placement
Travellers wanting better temperature control and comfort inside their living space
Standard heaters often rely on a sensor located near the control panel, which isn’t always ideal for representing cabin conditions. A remote room temperature sensor with cable lets you relocate the sensing element to where it counts — giving you better comfort control and avoiding unnecessary over-heating or under-heating cycles
