The Alde Discrete Room Temperature Sensor (Part no. 3010-346) is a genuine remote temperature sensor designed for caravan and motorhome Alde hydronic heating systems. It allows you to position a sensor in a more suitable location within the living space — away from heat sources that can affect the built-in control panel sensor — resulting in more accurate room temperature readings and better climate control.
This sensor is especially beneficial when the standard control panel location (e.g., near a kitchen or other heat source) leads to uneven heating or premature thermostat cut-off. The 2 m cable gives flexibility to place the sensor where it best reflects the true room temperature.
🌡 More Accurate Control – Readings from the living area help the heating system maintain comfortable temperatures.
📍 Flexible Placement – The 2 m cable allows positioning away from the control panel heat influence.
🔌 Plug & Play – Designed to connect directly to compatible Alde control panels.
🛠 Improves Heating Efficiency – Reduces thermostat errors caused by heat from appliances or sunlight.
✔ Genuine Alde Part – Built to OEM specification for reliability and longevity.

1 × Alde discrete room temperature sensor
1 × 2 m cable for placement flexibility
Remove power from the heating control panel before installation (as per Alde instructions).
Connect the sensor cable into the designated temperature sensor port on your Alde control panel.
Position the sensor in a location that accurately reflects the room temperature — away from heat sources like cookers or direct sunlight.
Secure the cable along a neat route to the sensor and test operation.
The heating system now uses this sensor’s reading to regulate temperature more precisely.
Positioning the sensor at a representative location results in more comfortable temperature control and can reduce instances of overheating or premature thermostat cut-off.
Caravan and motorhome owners with Alde hydronic heating systems
Anyone experiencing inaccurate thermostat readings near the control panel
Travelers who want better temperature control and comfort in living areas
Many standard Alde boiler control panels house the temperature sensor in a fixed position that isn’t always ideal. Heat sources such as stoves, sunlight, lounge heaters or appliances near that panel can cause false readings — leading to overheating or inefficient heating cycles. A genuine Alde discrete sensor gives you the flexibility to place the sensor where it truly reflects your interior climate, leading to improved comfort, efficiency and heating response
