The Alde Elbow for Air Bleed Valve is a genuine rubber elbow connector with integrated air-bleed screw designed for Alde hydronic central heating systems in caravans and motorhomes. This EPDM rubber connector allows you to replace or install a vertical elbow with a built-in air-bleed point, enabling you to remove trapped air from the heating loop easily — which helps prevent noise, improve circulation and increase system efficiency.
It’s compatible with the 22 mm aluminium heating circuit used in Alde systems; the rubber construction makes fitting to tubing easy by hand. Make sure a minimum of 3 cm of pipe inserts into the connector and secure with the supplied spring clips for a watertight seal.
🔄 Integrated Air Bleed Valve – Allows trapped air to be bled from the central heating circuit for more efficient hydronic performance.
🧰 EPDM Rubber Construction – Durable and flexible material that’s compatible with Alde wet heating loops.
📏 Fits 22 mm Pipework – Designed to match standard Alde central heating pipe diameters.
⚙️ Spring Clips Included – Ensures secure and leak-free fitment when installed correctly.
🛠 Easy To Install – Push-fit design with clips makes for straightforward DIY or workshop installation.

1 × Alde elbow with integrated air-bleed valve
1 × Set of spring clips for secure connection
Prepare your heating circuit and cut 22 mm pipe to the required length.
Push the pipe ends into the rubber elbow until at least 3 cm of pipe is inside the connector.
Fit the spring clips over the ends of the elbow and pipe to secure a watertight fit.
Use the built-in bleed screw at high points in the circuit to release trapped air during filling or servicing — helping prevent cold spots and improve circulation.
Caravan and motorhome owners installing or servicing Alde hydronic heating systems
DIY technicians needing a replacement heated circuit elbow with air-bleed point
Workshops and installers maintaining central heating plumbing
Air trapped within hydronic circuits can restrict flow, cause noise, and reduce heating efficiency. An elbow with an integrated air-bleed valve gives you a convenient access point for releasing air without disassembling the entire loop or adding separate bleed valves — making system filling and maintenance easier and more effective
