How is it fitted

Before you start

• Switch off the 12 V supply at the control panel or battery

• Choose a flat interior surface with enough clearance behind

• Confirm compatibility with your Berker frame/system

• Tools required: drill, jigsaw or hole saw (for cut-out), screwdriver, wire connectors

Step-by-Step Fitting

1. Prepare the mounting position

   • Select an interior wall or furniture panel.

   • Ensure there is space behind the panel for wiring and the USB module body.

2. Cut the aperture

   • Mark and cut the standard Berker module cut-out (to suit the mounting box or frame being used).

   • Smooth edges so the module fits cleanly and sits flush.

3. Connect the wiring

   • Connect the unit to the 12 V DC supply:

     • Positive (+) to the 12 V feed

     • Negative (–) to ground

   • Use suitable crimp connectors or terminals.

   • Ensure polarity is correct.

4. Mount the USB module

   • Insert the USB charging module into the mounting box or Berker frame.

   • Secure using the retaining clips or screws supplied with the frame/system.

5. Fit the anthracite cover plate

   • Clip the Berker anthracite fascia into place to complete the installation.

   • Check it sits flush and aligned with surrounding sockets/switches.

6. Restore power and test

   • Reconnect the 12 V supply.

   • Plug in a USB device to confirm both ports charge correctly.
