These roof bars are designed to mount across your vehicle’s roof on existing roof rails — specifically vehicles with raised or flush/integrated longitudinal roof rails (rails that run front-to-back along the roof). They do not fit vehicles without roof rails.
Fits: Raised or flush/integrated roof rails
Not suitable for: Smooth roofs with no rails
Before You Start
Check compatibility: Confirm your vehicle has suitable roof rails and check the roof’s maximum load capacity (bars + cargo must stay within rating).
Max load: 75 kg (bars + cargo), subject to your vehicle roof rating (use the lower of the two).
Preparation: Ensure rails are clean and free from dirt/debris.
Unpack & inspect
Remove both roof bars and all fittings from packaging.
Check that you have all components and that nothing is damaged.
Orient the bars
Each bar is 1200 mm long with an aerodynamic, anti-whistle rubber profile to reduce wind noise and drag.
Position the rubber strip to face outward/upwards.
Place on roof rails
Set the front bar across the roof rails and slide/locate the feet onto the rails.
Repeat with the rear bar, placing it parallel to the front.
Adjust spacing
Align the bars so they’re centered and evenly spaced. As a guideline, place the front bar slightly ahead and keep a minimum distance in line with general roof bar spacing advice (always refer to vehicle manufacturer recommendations).
Secure clamps
Wrap the clamp-style feet around each rail and tighten evenly on both sides.
Ensure the bars sit flush and straight across both rails.
Lock (if fitted)
Engage any anti-theft locking mechanisms that come with the bars to help prevent theft.
Final checks
Shake each bar gently — they should not move.
Recheck tightness after a short drive.
Remove the bars before using drive-through car washes to avoid damage.
