The aluminium profiles are equipped with grooves for the quick fixing of cargo accessories using "T" screws.
Anti-whistle rubber and the bars’ aerodynamic design help reduce wind noise and air resistance during travel.
The design of the roof bars allows for the adjustment of the inclination and height of each profile. This feature enables users to align the bars with each other, ensuring a secure and safe transport of the load.
Before You Start
Check vehicle compatibility: Confirm your specific van model and roof type match the list.
Roof load: Max total load 150 kg (weight of bars + cargo).
Tools needed: Socket set, torque wrench, ladder, protective gloves.
Unpack & organize
Lay out all three roof bars and the supplied fixing kit.
Check that all bolts, brackets and spacers are present.
Locate roof mounting points
On Ford Transit and similar vans, there are pre-drilled threaded holes or fixing points along the roof edges. These are your attachment locations.
Fit the first bar
Align the first roof bar over the first set of fixing points.
Attach the fixing brackets into the roof points using the supplied bolts.
Hand-tighten each bolt to position the bar.
Position the remaining bars
Fit the second and third bars in sequence, keeping them parallel and evenly spaced along the roof.
Adjust the inclination/height on each bar as needed to align with each other and ensure stability.
Tighten all fixings
Use a torque wrench to tighten bolts to manufacturer specification (check included fitting instructions for torque settings).
Ensure the bars are secure and do not twist or move.
Accessory grooves
The aluminium profiles include T-grooves to quickly install accessories (e.g., ladders, roofs racks, baskets) with compatible hardware.
Final safety check
Give each bar a firm shake — there should be no movement.
Recheck torque after first journey.
