Where does it go?

The Menabo Professional Airdyn C Roof Bars (000-131700000) fit across the roof of a VW Transporter T6 / T7 and mount directly to the van’s factory roof fixing points (the original reinforced/bolted mounting positions on the roof – not car-style roof rails).

How is it fitted

Before you start

• Max load: 150kg total (bars + accessories + cargo), but always use the lower of: your van’s roof load rating or the bar set rating.

• Kit type: 3-bar set supplied with fixing kit for VW T6/T7 applications.

• Tools: step ladder, socket/Allen tools, torque wrench (recommended), tape measure.

Step-by-step fitting

1. Unpack & check parts

   • You should have 3 aluminium bars plus the vehicle-specific fixing kit (feet/brackets/bolts).

2. Locate the roof fixing points

   • On the T6 / T7, find the factory mounting points along the roof edges (often behind trim/caps depending on model).

3. Fit the first bar (front)

   • Assemble the feet/brackets onto the bar.

   • Position the bar across the roof and line up the feet with the first set of fixing points.

   • Start bolts hand-tight so everything can still align.

4. Fit the second and third bars

   • Install the remaining bars in the same way, keeping them parallel and spaced evenly along the roof for stable load support.

5. Tighten and secure

   • Once all bars are aligned, tighten all fixings evenly (use a torque wrench if you have one and follow the supplied Menabo torque setting in the kit manual).

6. Fit rubber strips / accessory mounting

   • The bars include anti-whistle rubber and an aerodynamic profile to help reduce wind noise.

   • Use the T-grooves (T-slot) to attach compatible accessories with T-bolts/T-screws.

7. Final checks

   • Push/pull each bar firmly—there should be no movement.

   • Re-check tightness after your first short drive and periodically thereafter.
