How It Is Fitted 

Before You Start

✔ Confirm your water purifier is a Seagull IV X-1 or X-2 model.
✔ Choose a flat, vertical surface inside a cupboard or panel near the cold water supply and faucet connection so hoses won’t kink.
✔ Tools needed: drill (with suitable bit), screwdriver or driver, pencil, tape measure.

Step-by-Step Installation

1. Choose the mounting spot

   • Pick a location inside a cabinet or on a vertical panel close to the cold water supply and where the hoses will reach the purifier inlet and outlet without strain.

2. Mark the fixing holes

   • Hold the plastic bracket against the surface and use a pencil to mark the positions of the holes for the supplied screws.

3. Drill pilot holes

   • Drill small pilot holes at the marked points to make it easier to screw into the panel.

4. Fix the bracket

   • Align the bracket and secure it with the supplied screws, tightening until it’s firmly attached but not over-tightened.

5. Mount the purifier

   • Position the Seagull IV unit onto the bracket so the V-clamp or housing rests securely on the bracket lip.

6. Connect water lines

   • Once the appliance is bracket-mounted, connect your cold water supply to the purifier’s inlet and the purified water hose to your faucet or outlet, following the purifier’s standard plumbing instructions.
