Installation Overview

1. Identify the cold water supply pipe leading to the Truma water heater.

2. Cut the 12 mm water pipe at the appropriate installation point.

3. Insert the John Guest push-fit connectors from the kit into the pipe.

4. Install the FrostControl valve vertically in the water line.

5. Ensure the drain outlet faces downward so water can drain safely outside the vehicle.

6. Secure the valve inside the same compartment as the water heater, allowing it to sense the ambient temperature correctly.

7. Test the system for leaks and confirm the valve opens and closes correctly.
